Methods of Payment

You are able to complete your order by selecting one of the payment methods listed:

  1. Pay on delivery

    Your order will be shipped at the address that you have selected and at the time of the delivery, you pay the equivalent amount of your order to the courier with cash. This method of payment is valid for orders up to 150€.

    For orders that exceed 150€, you need to select a method of payment listed below. There is no added cost for payment on delivery. For orders exceeding 100€, shipping is free.

  2. Bank transfer

    During the checkout process, you may select a bank transfer as your method of payment.

    For your convenience, please state as your reason of deposit your full name and order number, which will be given to you after the completion of the order via the website and by a conformation email.

    The steps necessary to complete the transaction are:

    2. As soon as we confirm your deposit, we will notify you via email and mail your order.

      *For the process to be faster you can forword an electronic copy of your deposit to info@thefourthletter.gr

      ATTENTION::

      If you choose to make a bank deposit any transaction fees will be charged exclusively to the customer and in no case to www.thefourthletter.gr.

      To avoid potential extra charges, please deposit the payment directly through the selected bank.

  3. By credit/debit card

    During the checkout process, you may select as a method of payment a credit/debit card. In this case you’ll be transferred to Alpha Bank's secure Alpha e-Commerce payment platform where you can complete your order.

    SECURITY NOTE: All payments made using a card are processed through the electronic payment platform of “Alpha e-Commerce” of Alpha Bank and uses TLS 1.2 encryption with protocol encryption 128-bit (Secure Sockets Layer - SSL). Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.

  4. Masterpass

    What is Masterpass?

    Masterpass is the new global service for online payments using a digital wallet, which Alpha Bank was the first to launch in the Greek market, providing participating merchants with even higher speed, ease and security in their transactions.

    When making an online payment via Masterpass, the consumer logs in to the digital wallet he/ she has created with his/ her bank and chooses the card he/ she wishes to use for the specific payment. There is no requirement for the consumer’s card data to be typed, as these are already stored securely in his/ her digital wallet and are not communicated to the merchant participating in the transaction.

    Masterpass accepts all payment cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club) and its integration into the payment options offered by your e-shop is provided automatically by Alpha e-Commerce, by redirection to the Bank’s payment page (it only requires the Re-direction option to be chosen as the preferred connection method. With Masterpass, merchants gain a competitive advantage, as the shopping cart abandonment rate is minimised.

  5. Pickup from the store: By selecting this method of delivery. your order is stored at our store for 3 work days. During that period, you are able receive the items of the delivery by visiting the store during our working days and hours and pay with either cash or with debit/credit card
  6. MyBank

    MyBank service is a Europe-wide solution for online payments that enables the customer of an e-shop to complete his/ her purchases by directly debiting his/ her bank account, using the web banking service of his/ her bank. The integration of this service into Alpha e-Commerce aims to provide comprehensive e-commerce solutions to the participating businesses, by offering them the most up-to-date payment methods based on any payment means (card, bank account).
